Alícia Coquim

I'm Alícia and I'm from Aveiro – which means that, every now and then, the "v" slips away and makes room for a "b". But it's not only in the way I speak that I like to add my own special touch. I've always been passionate about books, especially stories that carry me off to other worlds, and that's what led me to marketing: a field where I can create, tell stories and give my imagination free rein.

But my life isn't made up of words and creativity alone. I've got a sporty streak in me, especially for basketball and swimming, which I did throughout my teens. Discipline, strategy and team spirit have become part of who I am. That said, there's a small (or perhaps rather large) controversy in my story: I love to eat.

Between books, creativity, sport and good food, I'm an unlikely balance, but one that makes perfect sense to me. After all, life is meant to be lived to the full.
