How's your email reputation?

At JellyCode, it's as good as it gets.
Updated on 28 September 2015 (originally published on 2 December 2013).
JellyCode is rated by Return Path (the international body that assesses and certifies email marketing service providers) with a Score of 98, which is an excellent rating on a scale of 1 (terrible) to 100 (excellent).

Naturally, we're very proud of this rating. It shows that the strict standards we apply, the investment in top-tier infrastructure and the sense of responsibility we bring to sending our clients' electronic communication campaigns are worth it, and that they add up to this superb achievement.
The main factors behind an outstanding Email Marketing service
1- Positioning
First, positioning. Who do we want to serve? JellyCode provides email marketing services to companies that value a higher, more responsible standard of service, because they value their own audience. These are informed, responsible companies that understand how serious SPAM email practices are and how — sooner or later — those practices will damage their business.
JellyCode therefore serves every company that values a professional Email Marketing service. "Professional" means: serving with expertise and responsibility, complying with the law on electronic communications, in line with best practice and to the highest quality standards.
2- Infrastructure
a) Dedicated, high-performance servers
We don't cut corners here. We invest in high-quality, high-performance servers to process the thousands (sometimes millions) of emails our clients send.
b) Dedicated and redundant IPs *
We don't just use dedicated IPs. We control the entire process and lifecycle of a dedicated IP, sending emails through an IP in a way that ramps up gradually, then stays consistent and controlled. This greatly reduces the chance of a given IP being flagged as a "SPAMMER" by one or more ISPs. For extra-large sends, we use redundant IPs, spreading the same volume across different IPs, so we never end up sacrificing a single IP to a high email volume (see below for more detail).
3- Content and format
There's no doubt about it: the content and format of your communication account for at least 50% of the likelihood of your email landing in the SPAM folder.
Whenever we're responsible for the design and build of the electronic communication (newsletter, promotional campaign, announcement or anything else), we can guarantee it will be produced in line with anti-SPAM best practice. If the client produces the communication, we audit it to make sure it meets best practice. To do so, we use several spam testers (SpamAssassin, mail-tester, etc.). If the template doesn't pass, our web and design professionals will make the necessary adjustments so that your communication reaches as many inboxes as possible without triggering SPAM.
These are genuinely some of the key things that set JellyCode apart in the Email Marketing services market — and our clients recognise it.
* About IPs: since we're not a "self-service", "online" tool for sending emails, we control the entire process.
That means dedicated IPs are used in a controlled, consistent and considered way. Many people think that having a dedicated IP means everything will be fine. In theory, yes, but in practice there are a few things you need to master. The first is the various ISPs: when they see a new IP (known as a cold IP) that starts out sending large volumes of email, with no opt-out (or opt-outs that don't work!), a high number of hard bounces (emails rejected as non-existent or incorrect), and inconsistent sending patterns, you'll find out just how ruthless those ISPs can be when they ban that IP from their customers' inboxes.
